In January 2017 TV3 launched its new-look three channel group strategy. 3e received a fresh brand identity. The entertainment channel was refined for 15-44s, while also be the exclusive home of Big Brother, Love Island and the after-show party programmes such as Britain’s Got More Talent and Love Island After Sun, along with The Graham Norton Show and Jonathan Ross.

  • 3e’s average Adult 15 + viewing share of 3% makes it the fifth most watched channel for this audience.
  • 3e is the fourth most watched channel for Adults 15 – 24 with a viewing share of 3.9% and also the fourth largest for women 1534 delivering a 4% average viewing share.
  • 3e reaches over 585, 000 viewers daily and over 1.7 million viewers on a weekly basis.

The new series of identities is called “Metamorphose”, exploring the ever changing and evolving nature of life, art and entertainment. The over-arcing concept is based on the inner layers breaking out to consume the 3e, transforming it entirely. The layered contents from within the 3e burst out in a seemingly infinite number of forms. This ‘infinite number of forms’ offers opportunity to adapt the 3e animations, creating bespoke idents for sponsorship.

The Sponsorship Package

  • Sponsor will take ownership of 3e via ‘ident interaction’ across the station.
  • The client’s creative will be integrated into ident “Metamorphose” style replacing the existing suite of 3e ident over a week, ensuring the brand is at the top of viewer’s minds.
  • The ident will be visible going into relevant programming such as Big Brother, Love Island, Xposé, UFC etc.
  • TV3’s graphics team will work with the sponsor to produce a 3e ident that actively communicates and engages with the target audience.
  • Idents will range from 10”-15”, appearing approximately 45 times over the week.

Post-production & Mastering

Once the frame sequences have been rendered, the sequences are edited together, the compositing and any additional colour correction is carried out.

The original idents each came with their own bespoke soundscape with accompanying VO. These options are available to the client also.

The final video is then encoded and delivered ready for broadcast.
